WebDec 28, 2015 · Flight assist is different because it helps to balance your thrusters in a way. If FA is off your motion will continiue in the last thrust direction used. If FA is on it tries to keep you in forward motion (your facing direction) if that makes sense to you. Exactly this. Elite has a beautifully designed and executed flight system, and it looks and feels gorgeous to play. The combat is good.
